Nancy Beechy- Occupational Therapist

Nancy is a Licensed Occupational Therapist by the Board of Illinois and Texas.  Nancy earned her bachelor degree at Augustana College in Biology and Pre-Occupational Therapy.  She completed the Master of Occupational therapy program at Governor’s State University and graduated as a member of the Phi Theta Epsilon Honors Society.  During her professional career of 6 years, Nancy has had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations and disorders in a variety of settings including: private clinics, schools, and not-for profits organizations.  Nancy traveled to Ukraine to work in orphanages as well as provide home therapy during her graduate work.  Nancy has had the opportunity to treat and evaluate a variety of children.  She is pediatric yoga certified and Therapeutic Listening certified.  Nancy has attended numerous coursed to expand her knowledge base including: behavioral/sensory courses, Zones of Regulation, Vision Courses, NDT, and feeding courses.  Nancy is passionate about treating the child with a holistic approach and the importance of health, and wellness.  Nancy’s passion for health has led her to open a small health food snack company as a hobby.
