Nicole Schoonmaker- Physical Therapist

Nicole is a Licensed Physical Therapist.  She received her undergraduate degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT.  She went on to received her doctorate in physical therapy from The George Washington University in Washington, DC in 2011.  Nicole has been practicing in the pediatric field for her whole career.  She has experience treating in long term care, acute inpatient rehab, acute inpatient including medical surgical units, oncology and hematology units, the PICU, and the NICU, as well as in early intervention, and both hospital and private practice outpatient.   She is loving the private practice environment and the sense of friendship and community that exists between patients, their families, and the therapists. Nicole has taken a wide variety of continuing education courses including yoga for therapy, aquatic therapy, NDT handling skills, and courses in neuroplasticity and motor learning. Nicole loves to do crafts, listen to audiobooks, be in nature, and spend time with her dog Kai.
