Speech Therapist

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for a part-time speech therapist to join our team! Do you have a lot of energy and consider yourself an "outside the box" thinker? Helping Hands is the place for you! We are looking for an experienced speech pathologist to work 2 days per week in our state of the art facility in New Lenox. Candidates must have a desire to make a difference in the lives of others while working with other disciplines to promote the strengths and independence of the child.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in speech therapy
Licensed in the state of IL
Minimum three years experience in pediatrics
Positive, teamwork attitude
Self-motivated and the ability to multi-task
Passion for working with children and families
Autism spectrum disorder experience required
Childhood Apraxia of Speech & motor speech disorders experience required
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
