Kendall Grigoletti- Occupational Therapist
Started at Helping Hands August 2020
I graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2017 with my bachelors degree in psychology. I then completed my doctoral degree in occupational therapy at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2020.
I have experience working with children of all ages within the clinic setting. I work with children from birth-3 years old in their home through the Early Intervention system, as well. I have had the opportunity to implement and expand my knowledge and experience with programs such as the Zones of Regulation, Alert Program, aquatic therapy, serial casting, feeding therapy utilizing the SOS approach, and Ayres' sensory integration. I have worked with children with diagnoses of Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, PANDAS, Fragile X Syndrome, and Sensory Processing Disorder. I am in the process of completing the necessary coursework for a Sensory Integration certification. For me, learning never stops, and I am always seeking new ways to expand my skills and experience to become a better OT.
My passion is working with children of all ages and abilities, utilizing a play-based and client/family-centered approach to improve their ability to participate in meaningful activities.
In my Free time I love spending time with my husband and our two dogs, Roxie and Rylee. We enjoy traveling, hiking, working out, and spending time at our family's cabin in Wisconsin.
